Route to Italy via Doha Airport…..

Today I am simultaneously happy, proud, and humbled to announce that I’ve placed in the 2011 1st quarter AGWPJA awards, a division of WPJA

I’ve been honored to win a few awards for AGWPJA contests, this is my THIRD win for the WPJA. What makes this so special for me is not just the prestige or bragging rights. It’s because the image that won is one that I feel is indicative of the approach I take with my work.

These were the judges comments:

“Strong composition with the subject framed in the right third of the frame. Nice capture of emotion and gesture and the toning works well.”

This image, from Elton + Joylynn a wedding at Bangalore, India won 2nd place in the Ceremony categories

And there pre wedding images was taken at Botanical garden City of Bangalore

7th place – The Creative Portrait category
