..after a busy-busy months now finally we have the time to put my Pre-wedding picture here. I’m always amazed with a couple that stays together from their high school years to their wedding, I think they are inspirational!

Canon Malaysia has today announced the new flagship model of the renowned EOS 1-series of digital SLR cameras for professional photographers: the Canon EOS-1D X. Superseding the EOS-1D Mark IV and the EOS-1Ds Mark III, the EOS-1D X is the ultimate tool for all professionals offering both exceptional image quality and unparalleled speed in one camera. Also announced today are the GP-E1 Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver for EOS, and the WFT-E6 Wireless File Transmitter unit, enabling functions such as time synchronisation between cameras

Here are a few pf the major improvements below:
1) Improved Image Quality and Low Light Sensitivity – In addition to improved image detail and overall quality, the EOS-1D X is able to shoot natively (within its standard range) from ISO 100 – 51,200 with expanded high settings of 102,400 at H1 and 204,800 at H2.
2) New 61-Point High Density Reticular Auto Focus – A large overall improvement in the AF system when compared to all of the prior Canon DSLR boasting improved diagonal AF point sensitivity.
3) Super High Speed Mode – The Canon EOS-1D X has the ability to shoot up to 14 FPS at full 18 megapixel resolution.
What does this all mean? Well, if this camera is as good in real life as it seems on paper this is going to be a major game changer in the industry. For one, Canon will be able to steal back the “Low Light King” title from Nikon, albeit temporarily as this always goes back and forth.
But, for you Canon users, you can expect that all of these features will be trickling down to Canon’s other DSLR models over the next year or two. 5D Mark II owners should be ecstatic as the 5D Mark III should include most of the major features of the 1D X such as the low light performance, AF system, without the high speed modes. This hopefully will mean that Canon, in particular 5DM2 users, won’t be having to constantly play the “center focus recompose” game anymore.
For now, all we can do is patiently wait as this camera won’t be available until March of 2012. But, it should be worth the wait.

There is something so complete about shooting a engagement in Rootz, It’s so gorgeous and feels so ‘elegant of 18 century’ inspired by the great Russian Museums, with the opulent design of baroque intricacy.
We spent the afternoon shooting an engagement session and I had the amazing experience of photographying Chloe and Ben, its truly awesome.

Venice is the most unbelievable location for a wedding or a pre/post wedding shoot. Around every corner is another treasure. It’s an island where all the buildings are built on water. One of the most unique cities in the world, there is no cars on the island, just many little bridges and little shops., gondolas in water, it’s hard not to fall in love with this romantic city.
Celine and Haw Choon set a high expectation on gregs and me, in the end, we manage to deliver a awesome movie trailer and one of the photo are won the international 1st place in AGWPJA 2011 under the categories “bridal party”…
Its so meaningful to us, 1st time we went to venice with such kind of result we had. Thank you very much Celine and Haw Choon for your warm and generous hospitality in Venice. We had a really wonderful time!

Anna and Trung pre wedding shoot took place at a beautiful spot by the Old Quarter in Hanoi, the original street layout and architecture of old Hanoi.
Trung is a pilot studies at ESMA Aviation Academy and work at Ha Noi, Vietnam. As the love story told by Anna, Trung was setup a romance candlelight dinner one of the hotel near by the sea. When he propose to her in the very memorable way, because that night had falling star and yet Anna said “YES” to Trung.
